Sentinels has been one of the most prominent organizations in the short history of Valorant. Early iterations of the team dominated the North American and international scenes. Now, a new era begins with the partnership program in place. As one of the VCT Americas partnered teams, it promised to create an unstoppable team. Sentinels may have just done that with the addition of Rory “dephh” Jackson.

Sentinels announces dephh to finalize Valorant roster
The org has released some of the most hype announcement videos for their new-look Valorant roster. We’ve seen a familiar face, world champions, a young titan and all-star coaches brought on board. At the time of publication, his role hasn’t been confirmed, but it looks like Sentinels has their IGL in dephh.

Dephh is former CS:GO professional who spent his first days in Valorant with Dignitas. Then he found himself on XSET, one of the most consistent teams in the esport. Several Top 4 placements cemented XSET’s place in Tier 1 Valorant. This included a Stage 2 NA Challengers victory over OpTic Gaming and berths at back-to-back international events.

XSET was denied from the partnership program, so dephh and his teammates were allowed to explore opportunities elsewhere. He joins one former XSET member by answering Sentinels’ call prior to the upcoming season.
Sentinels has its starting five
With the recent signing, we now know the Sentinels 2023 VCT roster consists of the following players:

Don “SyykoNT” Muir and Adam “kaplan” Kaplan are the Head Coach and Strategic Coach, respectively. Unless they participate in any off-season Valorant tournaments, the first chance we’ll get to see the roster in action will be in Brazil. São Paulo, Brazil will host a 2023 VCT kick-off tournament with every single partnered team in attendance.
