100Thieves is the latest Valorant team to announce its Valorant roster for VCT 2023. 100Thieves General Manager, Daniel “ddk” Kapadia sat down with Michael “Mikes” Hockom to talk to the fans the idea behind their roster reveal.
In the announcement video, ddk referred to the public perception that 100Thieves signed Cryo only because they couldn’t get Yay. However, the head coach, Mikes chimed in to say Cryocells has been playing Jett in this Chamber meta and the coaches feel they can mould him better and improve his agent pool.
“I think a really big focus for us this off-season is ‘making sure we are set up for success’,” said DDK. “All this time that you have that we didn’t have before to put in some frameworks for players. We’ve noticed a lot of stuff in the last six months – how the day to day works, what’s working, what’s not working. So now we get this opportunity to make that more optimal and we get the opportunity to decide how to build this culture that’s going to last for many many years on this team.“

100Thieves’ focus is to work with players that can develop and improve their skill over the off-season. The focus for the 100Thieves Valorant roster seems to be one of improvement and stability, which bodes well for the players on the team.
