How will teams qualify for the PGC 2022?

Five spots are up for grabs in the APAC region towrd PGC 2022. The winner of the PCS 7 APAC will directly earn a spot in the event, while the remaining spots are given out to the best points performers over the seasn. Teams have to accumulate PFC points from both seasons in 2022, which are the PCS 6 and the ongoing PCS 7.

To ensure regional distribution, the Thai team with the most PGC points will qualify. Similarly, the Vietnamese team with the most points will also earn a spot at the event. The remaining three spots will be given to the top three teams with the most points.

The PGC Points Distribution for the APAC Region.

While Cerberus Esports have a lead of 20 points at the top of the table, a single bad match could even out the table in week two. This still doesn’t really affect their spot at PGC this year, but they would like to win PCS7 and set the right foot forward leading into the season final.

PGC 2022 will take place in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates from Nov. 1 to 20. It will happen at the Dubai Exhibition Center and will feature a prize pool of more than $2 million. While the base prize pool is $2 million, it can be further increased by fans who purchase upcoming PGC items in the game.

PCS 7 APAC Week 2: Where to watch?
