Here is how Drops work during League of Legends Worlds 2022

Already tuning in to Worlds 2022? You might as well get rewarded for it! Whether you are planning to straight up watch the action or participate in Pick’Ems, you can earn exclusive rewards by visiting the official League of Legends Esports site.

Diamonds are a gamer’s best friend

The drops this year are one-of-a-kind. For the first time ever, Riot Games has partnered with Tiffany & Co. to create exclusive luxurious awards for fans that tune in to the competition. Tiffany & Co. designed the Summoner’s Cup and now the jewelry brand has created Crystal Rose Chromas and a Worlds x Tiffany & Co. Ward for fans. These rewards won’t be available later on, meaning you’ll have to watch the Group Stage through the Finals on the official site for a chance at obtaining them.

These are the rewards:

One redeemable code for an exclusive Tiffany & Co. themed Crystal Rose chroma (codes and champions will vary per drop):Crystal Rose Swain (Tiffany & Co.)Crystal Rose Zyra (Tiffany & Co.)Crystal Rose Akshan (Tiffany & Co.)

The 2022 Worlds Rewards Capsule

Riot Games is also bringing an entirely new selection of exclusive icons, emotes, and cosmetics that are only available during Worlds 2022. Fans will earn a 2022 Worlds Rewards Capsule through drops or Pick’Em, and then they will receive one item at random from this list:

One of the Worlds-exclusive Icons or Emotes for 2022 (excluding team logos)One 2022 Esports CapsuleOne Hextech Chest & Key

The Capsule ensures that you won’t get any duplicates. So keep watching Worlds to collect all of the exclusive items. Riot Games has also disabled re-rolls on emotes this year “to keep the collecting more fair.” Disenchant any duplicates into Orange Essence to use in Hextech Crafting.

How do LoL Esports Drops work?

Drops have been a popular addition to the Worlds viewing experience in past years, but if you’re new to this system, here’s how to get these exclusive rewards.

Create an account on the lolesports.com site, or simply log in if you already have one. You’ll use your Riot account. If you watch matches on the site thereafter, you’ll have the opportunity to randomly earn a drop.

Riot doesn’t tell you what will result in a drop beforehand, but it’s usually something “pretty epic” like a pentakill, quadrakill, or even during the opening and closing ceremonies. Some drops are gauranteed, however, like a drop at the beginning of the first game of each stage:

Remember, drops only happen during the live broadcasts, not VLOGS, so make sure you’re watching on the official LoL Esports site while logged in to your Riot account.

Each drop will come with information on how to redeem it. In-game items will show up in your account within 24 hours. Champion Skin Chromas will have a code, but you’ll need to already own the skin to apply it. Riot Support will contact with you within 30 days if you win a merch item and you’ll be able to schedule a delivery.

If you have more questions about region-specific drops or what to do if a drop went awry, contact Riot Support!
