FFWS is one of the most watched esports tournaments worldwide
The FFWS is one of the most watched esports tournaments in the world. Despite being a mobile esports title, it eclipses popular traditional PC games as well in terms of viewership. The FFWS 2021 Singapore remains the number one esports tournament in terms of peak viewership globally (excluding China), according to Esports Charts. The tournament had a peak viewership of 5.4 million with an average of 2 million people watching.
Free Fire is unlikely to achieve this number again, though, because of its ban in one of the game’s largest markets, India, earlier this year.
