Destiny 2: Where Is Xur Today? Location and Exotic Items for September 16-20

The objectively sexiest creature alive, Xûr, is now live in Destiny 2 for the weekend until next week’s reset. If you’re looking to get your some shiny new Exotic armor or weapons for your Guardian, look no further.

Each week, Xûr has a random assortment of Exotic armor, one for each Guardian class, as well as a random Exotic Weapon and an Exotic Engram available for purchase. In addition to his Exotic wares, he’s got a random collection of Legendary weapons and armor to deck out your Guardians.

We’ve rounded up all the info on Xûr for the week including where to find Xûr, which Exotic weapons and armor are available, as well as which Legendary weapons you should pick up, either for PvE or PvP.

Where Is Xûr This Weekend?

Xûr’s location today can be found at Watcher’s Grave on Nessus on September 16 through September 20. To reach him, travel to the landing point at Watcher’s Grave. When you arrive, make for the red moss-covered tree straight ahead. Climb up the roots and you’ll find Xûr waiting at the top to sell you exotic items and legendary weapons.

What Is Xûr Selling This Weekend?

Shards of Galanor – Exotic Hunter Gauntlets

Transversive Steps– Exotic Warlock Leg Armor

Nothing this week is amazing (aside from the Two-Tailed Fox rocket launcher that you should pick up if you don’t have it), since the best armor we got was the Titan chest piece with 65 overall stat points. That said, Shards of Galanor are still pretty much a must-have for solar Hunters, so consider picking those up if you don’t have them even as unimpressive as the roll is.

Exotic Weapons

Hawkmoon – Exotic Hand Cannon

Dead Man’s Tale – Exotic Scout Rifle

Neither of these weapons has a particularly impressive roll this week, so I’d say it’s an easy pass. Let’s see what Xur gives us next week, shall we?

The Imperial Needle roll is pretty great if you’re into bows, and the Lonesome sidearm roll is fantastic in our current PvP meta. I’d recommend thos two, but otherwise it’s slim picking this week!

In a surprise twist this week, Xur is selling TWO sets of armor for each class. Upon first glance, it seems like one might exist purely for collections/transmog (very low stats), while the other contains possibly more desirable rolls.

Warlock Legendary Armor

For Warlocks, Xûr is selling the Illicit Invader and Pathfinder sets which include:

Illicit Invader Gloves

16 Mobility10 Resilience2 Recovery6 Discipline14 Intellect10 StrengthTotal: 58

Illicit Invader Chest Armor

17 Mobility7 Resilience7 Recovery21 Discipline9 Intellect2 StrengthTotal: 63

Illicit Invader Helmet

6 Mobility9 Resilience17 Recovery6 Discipline10 Intellect15 StrengthTotal: 63

Illicit Invader Leg Armor

12 Mobility9 Resilience8 Recovery26 Discipline2 Intellect2 StrengthTotal: 59

Illicit Invader Bond

The helmet and chest both got decent rolls for Warlocks this week, though neither is anything to write The Tower about. Unless you’re in a pinch for so-so Warlock armor this week it’s probably going to be an uneventful Xur visit.

As for the Pathfinder armor set, Xur is selling it but it’s so incredibly low stat that it really isn’t worth listing it out here. Needless to say, grab it if you need it for collections and for no other reason — I forbid you.

Titan Legendary Armor

For Titans, Xûr is selling the Illicit Invader and Pathfinder sets which include:

Illicit Invader Gauntlets

24 Mobility6 Resilience2 Recovery10 Discipline6 Intellect17 StrengthTotal: 65

Illicit Invader Chest Armor

7 Mobility7 Resilience17 Recovery7 Discipline16 Intellect7 StrengthTotal: 61

Illicit Invader Helmet

6 Mobility9 Resilience15 Recovery15 Discipline2 Intellect15 StrengthTotal: 62

Illicit Invader Leg Armor

17 Mobility2 Resilience9 Recovery2 Discipline15 Intellect14 StrengthTotal: 59

Illicit Invader Mark

The highlight for Titans this week are the gauntlets with high overall stats and great Mobility if you’re trying to make a fast Titan for some reason. Everything else is a pass!

Once again, the Pathfinder armor appears to exist purely for collections purposes.

Hunter Legendary Armor

For Hunters, Xûr is selling the Illicit Invader and Pathfinder sets which include:

Illicit Invader Grips

7 Mobility2 Resilience19 Recovery7 Discipline16 Intellect7 StrengthTotal: 58

Illicit Invader Chest Armor

12 Mobility16 Resilience2 Recovery10 Discipline2 Intellect19 StrengthTotal: 61

Illicit Invader Helmet

2 Mobility10 Resilience17 Recovery6 Discipline7 Intellect20 StrengthTotal: 62

Illicit Invader Leg Armor

2 Mobility16 Resilience10 Recovery14 Discipline10 Intellect6 StrengthTotal: 58

Illicit Invader Cloak

Sorry, Hunters! Ya got bamboozled this week…again!

That’s a wrap on Xûr for this week, Guardians! Hope you’re all enjoying your adventures in the Season of the Plunder.
