Nigma Galaxy and Team Bald Reborn clash in WEU DPC

With popcorns on the ready, Dota 2 fans finally get to see the collision between their favorite streamers and Dota 2 prodigies. After one long month of wait, the Western European (WEU) Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) delivers the Nigma Galaxy vs Team Bald Reborn matchup.

Nigma Galaxy goes by the starry theme and its lineup, if not more, is just as star-studded. With the addition of Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan prior to the season, NGX now hosts a full roster of TI winners. Fans are also delirious with two of Dota 2’s greatest prodigies, SumaiL and Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi playing side-by-side.

On the other hand, Team Bald Reborn flashes a couple of popular Dota 2 streamers that are not only entertaining but skillful. Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski is one of the most popular streamers in the scene, boasting 575,000 followers on Twitch. Another streamer on the team, Steve “Xcalibur” Ye is almost always familiar to Dota 2 players. He has 175,000 followers on Twitch and his clips regularly floats around the Dota 2 sphere.

Of course, you don’t have to be Einstein to figure out which team is favored in this matchup. One would say NGX is “smurfing” in Division II right now and TBR is not nearly the same level as the TI champions.

But, if you’re interested to see how it went, here’s a quick recap!

A merciless beatdown by Nigma Galaxy with a 2-0 against TBR

The first game witnessed non-stop clashes from both sides but NGX was constantly on top of every fight. MinD_ContRoL went for an offlane Pudge and KuroKy played a Zeus position 5. We know Kuroky is no stranger to odd supports, especially after his notorious Razor 5 days. In the post-match interview, he even revealed that Zeus is his current favorite. “I really like Zeus. Chill, just farm, click ulti sometimes, don’t have to buy Sentries, it’s a good hero.”

But the real star of Game 1 was SumaiL’s Dawnbreaker. The midlaner led the net worth chart and once he equipped himself with more items, we saw some nasty damage output.

In Game 2, it was sheer, brutal dominance from NGX. They conquered the map, murdering anyone in sight, and finished the game in only 24 minutes.

NGX is definitely feeling themselves in the DPC and even though they’re playing from Division II, their impenetrable energy is looking powerful. They’re insanely close to booking that promotion slot to Division I and with this level of performance, they might do so with ease.

Following Patch 7.31d update, two new heroes emerge under the spotlight.
