Gamers8 Rocket League offers one of the biggest prize pools in the competitive Rocket League’s history, with $2 million USD in total. In fact, it is only short $85,000 USD of the prize pool of the upcoming World Championship, which is the most important Rocket League tournament. Here is the prize pool distribution:

There are twenty-four teams participating and they are divided into four groups with six teams each.

Format of Gamers8 Rocket League
The format is going to differ from the normal competitive RLCS format. It is divided into two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs.
Group Stage
The group stage is going to be a Double Elimination Bracket with best-of-five (BO5) matches. The matches will follow this order and game mode:
G1: 3v3G2: The loser of Game 1 picks from 1v1 or 2v2 Game ModeG3: 3v3G4: The Game Mode that has not been chosen in Game 2G5: 3v3
The teams will decide who’s going to play for them in a 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 game. The top two teams per group will qualify for the playoffs.
Playoffs
The playoff is going to be a Single Elimination bracket with best-of-seven (BO7) matches. The teams will decide who’s going to play for them in a 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 game. The matches will follow this order and game mode:
