Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch is suffering from a game-breaking bug that’s preventing players from being able to progress and finish the story, and unfortunately there’s currently no news on when owners can expect a patch to repair it.
Developer Aspyr conceded on Twitter earlier today that it is aware there’s currently no way to finish the game, but apologised for the inconvenience and noted its team was “working on delivering the patch as soon as possible.”
Yeah I was one of the users who reported it before it was a known issue.
Just to be clear you’re aware that there is no way to complete this game currently?

Aspyr published a note on its support page late last week saying the studio had received player reports of “a game crash occurring after the Basilisk Crash cutscene when landing on Onderon.”
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, which was originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by LucasArts on Xbox in 2004 and PC in 2005, was released on Switch earlier this month.
Aspyr is also currently working on a remake of the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which will be coming to PlayStation 5 as a console exclusive at launch alongside a PC release, with other consoles possibly to be revealed at a later date.
