Masters Tour: Vashj’ir

The first Hearthstone Esports season for 2022 is over, and Master Tour Vashj’ir will inaugurate the second part. The $250,000 event will give out points to qualify for the Fall Seasonal Championship. On top of that, players making 6-2 or better will also earn an invite for Masters Tour Five.

As always, Hearthstone will reward viewers with drops during the YouTube broadcast equivalent to two Voyage to the Sunken City free packs.

Despite we are still waiting on the Murder at Castle Nathria expansion to arrive on August 2nd, this Masters tour will see a new card featured. Hearthstone Esports confirmed that Prince Renathal is eligible for the event. While some pro-players disliked this, it will spice up the established metagame.

Controversy around the inclusion of Prince Renathal in the next Hearthstone Major: “this kind of thing without any warning is to treat us like idiots.”

The next $250K Hearthstone Masters Tour is round the corner and the inclusion of the new Prince Renathal is divisive.
