The WoW Classic Darkmoon Faire is now active in Elwynn Forest for March 2020, running from the 9th through 15th. The Faire will be available in Mulgore in April 2020.
With the opening of the Darkmoon Faire, Classic players can turn in their collected decks for epic Darkmoon Trinkets.
How to Get to Elwynn Forest for the Darkmoon Faire as Horde
Reaching the Elwynn Forest Darkmoon Faire site as Horde is relatively easy, if you’re willing to take an overland trek in a zone that goes up to level 30. It avoids nearly all Alliance guards except one small encampment in Duskwood.
- Go to the zeppelin platform in either Ogrimmar or Undercity and take the zeppelin to Grom’gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale.
- Once in Grom’gol (don’t forget to pick up the flight point if you don’t have it), take the road northeast out of the camp, and turn left at the T intersection. Travel north along this road until you cross into Duskwood.
- Follow the road north, but keep your eye out for a small Alliance guard encampment on the right side of the road, near the junction of the east-west road. As soon as you see it, swing west to avoid this camp. Do not turn onto the road, but head overland north between the Twilight Grove and Raven Hill Cemetery.
- Stay north in this corridor until you hit the river (ideally you want to be around 30,24 in Duskwood). Cross the river into Elwynn Forest.
- Head north, keeping the farm (Maclure Vineyards) to your right. You will soon see the Darkmoon Faire grounds, just south of Goldshire.

While the Faire spends most of its time in parts unknown, Silas Darkmoon and his enigmatic employees do stop from time to time in Mulgore and Elwynn Forest. When the Faire is on its way, barkers will stop by Orgrimmar and Ironforge to announce its arrival.Hear ye! Hear ye! The first Darkmoon Faire in WoW Classic begins set up Friday, February 7 in Mulgore, with barkers appearing in Ironforge and Orgrimmar to share the news. Festivities begin on Monday, February 10 and will be available to visitors for a week before shutting down until the following month.Visitors will be able to access the Faire in alternating months either from Elwynn Forest or Mulgore and serves as a neutral location for both the Horde and Alliance. While there are no guards to stop you from traveling through the portal, those on PvP realms will need to exercise caution when entering into enemy territory to get to the Faire.When: February 10–February 16, Mulgore
March 9–March 15, Elwynn ForestVisitors will also be able to enjoy food, drink, and rare item vendors offering additional exotic goods.
Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets and Prizes
Completing games and quests for the Darkmoon Faire will generally reward you with Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Tickets can also be earned by offering trade goods to Chronos, Kerri Hicks, Rinling, or Yebb Neblegear.Speak to Gelvas Grimegate to redeem Darkmoon Faire Tickets for various prizes, including some epic-quality pieces of gear. You’ll also be able to trade in Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets toward reputation.
Darkmoon Cards
Darkmoon Cards can now be collected from across Azeroth. Once a deck is completed, players can turn it in to Professor Thaddeus Paleo for an epic-quality Trinket.
